Clarence Elstad has opened up his private residence in Mukilteo, for a tour of how he strives to live sustainably, on July 20th for Green Drinks.

Tour will include: roof top solar, fruit trees, vegetable garden, flowers, bees, chickens, rain barrel collection, (drip hoses for water distribution), habitat for birds/wildlife. There is also an 18 foot 'Sea Life Sculpture' carved from a Redwood Tree in the front yard. (stump from a tree that needed to be removed)

Wine, beer, water, bread, (for dipping olive oil from Spain that Mike is bringing) rhubarb cake, (from garden- with honey rather than sugar) sampling of rhubarb sauce, (with honey) plum butter.

Plan to bring something to share such as: appetizers, beer, wine or soda, so there is enough for everyone, that would be greatly appreciated.

April 20th Green Drinks - GROWashington & Everett Farmers Market

GROWashington, Everett Farmers Market, and Green Drinks so what do they have in common? Well, local businesses teaming up together to offer Washington made goods to our community.
Join us at Green Drinks on April 20th to be Hosted by GROWashington in Everett and Sponsored by the Everett Farmers Markets, from 5 to 7pm at 3013 Colby Ave, Everett 98201. 

GROWashington is in three locations Everett, Snohomish and Sultan. Through training and business consulting, GRO increases the capacity of start-up product-based businesses. GRO facilitates marketing and networking opportunities that help micro businesses in Washington increase their sales reach, as they actively work with fellow members to create brand awareness.

GROWashington is also restoring – CULMBACK BLDG into CoWorking Space. The restoration will include space for up to 25 entrepreneurs that are looking for space to meet clients or just to do their work. The Everett Farmers Market opens the 23rd Season in a new location "Boxcar Park" at the Port of Everett, on Mother’s Day, May 8th thru Oct 16th and the Friday Everett Farmers Market at the  Everett Mall to resume for its 4thd season starting June 17th to Sept 23rd. Green Drinks – Special Event – March 17th on St Patty’s Day

Join us for a joint Seattle/Snohomish GreenDrinks at 21 Acres co-sponsored by Sound Salmon Solutions and Shoreline Solar Project/NW SolarFest. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages as well as snacks will be served. $5 entrance fee at the door goes to support the co-sponsors.

There will be activities, door prizes and the kick off to the 2016 NW SolarFest being held July 23 at Shoreline Community College. GreenDrinks provides time and place for people interested in a sustainable, diverse, and healthy community to socialize, network, learn about “green” businesses and resources, share ideas, and have fun. It began in London in 1989 and has expanded to 621 GreenDrinks groups around the globe.



Green Drinks takes on one more meaning this March. It will be held on St. Patricks Day! So wear some green, travel green, live green, and come enjoy a great time.

Green Drinks February 17th - Basecamp & Everett Makers Market

On February 17th from 5 to 7pm GreenDrinks will be hosted at Basecamp and Sponsored by Everett Maker Market at 1420 Hewitt Ave in Everett.


Basecamp is a collaborative, creative space for local entrepreneurs, creatives and musicians. The space is fully utilized from morning until late in the night with 5 offices, creative space and a stage where four regional bands practice seven nights-a-week. Basecamp is the headquarters of Everett Music Initiative, Puget PR, Vertical Gardens Northwest and Soniphone Records. Just in a few months, the collaborative space has hosted dozens of meetings and provided incubation space for several new ideas and concepts for downtown, including the Everett Makers Market. Everett Makers Market is a curated monthly popup shop located in downtown Everett, WA. Green Drinks December 16th at Angel Arms Works in Snohomish

Join us Wednesday, December 16th from 5 to 7 p.m. Celebrating Sustainability with Futurewise at Angel Arms Works 230 Ave B in Snohomish, AngleArmsWorks.org  at the home and art studio of Snohomish Mayor, Karen Guzak and her life-partner Warner Blake.

Karen and Warner purchased the former St. Michael’s catholic church in 1993 and have made many modifications designed with the community in mind.  Angel Arms Works added solar to their already sustainable efforts! A 24 panel solar array with panels manufactured by Marysville’s Silicon Energy now resides on the south-facing rooftop of the building.

Futurewise is working throughout Washington State to create livable communities, protect our working farmlands, forests, and waterways, and ensure a better quality of life for present and future generations.

This will be a farewell Green Drinks for Kristin Kelly as Snohomish/Skagit Program Director of Futurewise for the last 13 years, who will be closing the field office as of December 31, 2015.

Sorry All.... We did not find anyone who wanted to host or sponsor Green Drinks for the month of November.
