The
Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides (NCAP) is hosting Snohomish
Green Drinks and a fundraising event on September 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Bluewater Organic Distillery. Learn
about NCAP’s important work in Washington State to promote ecologically sound
alternatives to pesticides, reduce pesticide use in schools and parks, and safeguard our water and
wildlife.
Cost
is $5 per person and includes light appetizers and 1 Organic Bluewater Cocktail
or other beverages. RSVP recommended but not required. Contact

Green Drinks at Red Barn Community Farm - August 19th
The Red Barn Community Farm is a partnership between Volunteers of America, Transition Port Gardner, the Lowell Civic Association, RSVP of Snohomish County, and the City of Everett that allows individuals in the community to grow their own produce. Garden plots are available annually, which require a small rental fee and service requirement.

July 15th - Green Drinks - Rain Gardens
July Green Drinks will be sponsored by the City of Everett in partnership with the Snohomish Conservation District and Washington State University Snohomish County Extension. We will tour several rain gardens installed as part of Everett’s rain garden rebate program.Join us for a guided tour of the rain gardens starting at 5:30 pm. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions.
Tour will begin at 1015 Oakes Ave, Everett, Washington.

Through training and business consulting, GROW increases the capacity of start-up product-based businesses. The Everett Farmers Market opens the 22nd season at the Port of Everett, Mother's Day May 10th thru Oct 18th and the Friday Farmers Market Everett Mall to resume its 3rd season starting June 12th to Sept 25th.
The Everett Farmers Market was started in 1993 by Marie Brayman with a vision and just a few vendors in an empty, unpaved lot just west of what is now Lowes Hardware store.
Today the Everett Farmers Market's during peak season has 90 Vendors and welcomes thousands of customers to enjoy the pleasures of locally grown food, artisans and music each Sunday owner/management team of Gary Purves and Karen Erickson.
