Aug. 12th GreenDrinks at the Anchor Tavern in Everett

Community Energizer, Aileen Langhans, is hosting August GreenDrinks to thank all of the friends she’s made over the past 30 years for their support, advice, patience, time, energy, for ears to bend and shoulders to cry on, for boosting her spirits and for being her extended family.

Aileen is at the heart of the Everett community from baking cookies, researching an issue, typing minutes, giving public comment, or taking a stand – she is thoughtful, always thorough and quite mischievous. Aileen also is celebrating 3 decades as a songrapher at General/Providence Hospital.
Our featured non-profit recipient will be THE COLLINS BUILDING – IT’S TOO BIG (and too green) TO FAIL!!!!!!!!!

‘Frog Lady’ opening Amphibian Center on Waterfront

By Russ Doubleday Enterprise reporter

Thayer Cueter was meant to work with frogs. She was born on St. Patrick’s Day, a holiday where kids also receive frog gifts with their four-leaf clovers and leprechaun hats.
Growing up, she was known more commonly as “Froggie” or “Frog Lady” than as Thayer. Her love of frogs and her desire to protect them never wavered.
Fast forward 47 years, and Cueter is now on the eve of opening a permanent amphibian center on the Edmonds waterfront. The Just Frogs Toads Too! Foundation, which is non-profit, will be opening an Amphibian Center in mid-August. click to read more
