Green Drinks at McMenamins on Oct 9th from 5 to 7pm

Due to scheduling challenges, the Green Drinks at Snoqualmie Ice Cream Café is being postponed until next month: Wednesday, November 13th – Save the Date!

Join us this Wednesday, October 9th, at the McMenamins Mill Creek for Happy Hour! The fun begins at 5 pm and we’ll be hanging around until 7 pm. If you haven’t been to McMenamins before you’re in for a treat! An onsite brewery services the pub with about a dozen handcrafted ales from fermenting tanks in a brewery visible through a glass window. As the pub regulars will tell you, the Mill Creek brewery makes a mean IPA, not to be missed! This event will be a no-host event.
Sustainability at McMenamins:
They employ two environmental coordinators (one of whom has held this position for more than 15 years) who oversee reducing, reusing and recycling the company's waste including composting. They also work to prevent energy waste and promote energy savings and efficiency. They use as many earth-friendly products as possible. They have four company vehicles that use biodiesel, including two beer delivery trucks. Even their brewing is Earth-Friendly! Much of the brewing equipment is purchased second-hand and retrofitted to suit McMenamins' needs and kegs are purchased from other breweries or industrial recycling plants. Join us to learn more!

October Green Drinks - Snoqualmie Ice Cream

Halloween Season is coming soon so let’s get ready to scream…for ice cream!  There is no denying Snoqualmie Ice Cream is a sweet end to a well-lived day.
Join us Wednesday at the October Green Drinks from 5 to 7pm for some tasty samples of Snoqualmie Ice Cream’s gourmet flavors. The team at Snoqualmie Ice Cream uses fresh, local cream to craft custom ice cream flavors in their sustainable, award-winning Maltby, Washington ice cream plant. Learn first-hand how they are just as passionate about the environment as they are about their ice cream! From solar panels, to the pervious concrete parking lot, see examples of their sustainable practices throughout the facility and café.

Snoqualmie is the official ice cream sponsor of Seattle Greendrinks. We are thrilled that they are hosting our October Snohomish County Green Drinks gathering!  We look forward to seeing you there:
