Elstad has opened up his private residence in Mukilteo, for a tour of
how he strives to live sustainably, on July 20th for Green Drinks.Tour will include: roof top solar, fruit trees, vegetable garden, flowers, bees, chickens, rain barrel collection, (drip hoses for water distribution), habitat for birds/wildlife. There is also an 18 foot 'Sea Life Sculpture' carved from a Redwood Tree in the front yard. (stump from a tree that needed to be removed)
Wine, beer, water, bread, (for dipping olive oil from Spain that Mike is bringing) rhubarb cake, (from garden- with honey rather than sugar) sampling of rhubarb sauce, (with honey) plum butter.
Plan to bring something to share such as: appetizers, beer, wine or soda, so there is enough for everyone, that would be greatly appreciated.
